PowerLine by Dose'D ("Platform", "we", "us") operates a B2B lead generation platform connecting wholesale distributors and retail buyers in the smoke, CBD, hemp, and alternative products industry. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Platform.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, password, and selected role (retailer, distributor, or sales representative).

Business Information

To verify your identity and enable Platform features, we collect business name, EIN or tax identification number, business address, business licenses, resale certificates, and business type.

Transaction Data

We collect order details, order history, invoicing data, payment confirmation status (buyer-confirmed and seller-confirmed), and product preferences to facilitate connections between buyers and sellers.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, search queries, click patterns, session duration, and referral sources.

Device Information

We collect technical information about the device you use to access the Platform, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze Platform usage. See Section 6 for a detailed breakdown of the technologies we use.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Communicate with you about your account, orders, and Platform updates

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

With Other Users

Your business name, product listings, and business profile are visible to other Platform users as necessary for the marketplace to function.

Aggregated/Anonymized Data

We share aggregated and anonymized data including purchasing volumes, geographic distribution, product popularity, and industry trend data with third parties. This data cannot be used to identify you or your business individually.

Service Providers

We share data with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform (see Section 5).

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.

What We Do NOT Share

We do NOT share your email address, personal contact information, or individually identifiable business data (such as specific order details or revenue figures) with third parties without your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information according to the following schedule:

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active, plus 12 months after account deletion to handle any outstanding obligations.
  • Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years in compliance with tax and financial record-keeping requirements.
  • Analytics Data: Retained for 26 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Aggregated/Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to individual users.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to the following limitations:
    • We cannot delete your account while there are outstanding platform service fees owed
    • Transaction records are retained for 7 years regardless of account deletion (legal requirement)
    • Aggregated/anonymized data derived from your usage is retained indefinitely
  • Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time via email preferences or by contacting us.
  • Cookie Preferences: Manage your cookie preferences via the cookie consent banner.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to the exceptions noted in Section 8.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of the sale of your personal information. Note: We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but we do share aggregated/anonymized data as described in Section 4.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

10. Children's Privacy

PowerLine is a business-to-business platform. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. All users must be at least 18 years old. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

11. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Firebase Security Rules to restrict database access
  • Secure authentication via Firebase Auth with support for multi-factor authentication
  • Regular security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

12. International Users

PowerLine is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

All transactions, including product orders and payments, are conducted directly between the buyer and seller. PowerLine does not sell, fulfill, guarantee, insure, process, or intermediate any products or transactions. PowerLine is not a party to any agreement between buyers and sellers.
